Theme for the year...
Have you made New Year's Resolutions? I've noticed that many in the blog-o-sphere are choosing to pick a theme or a word to focus on rather than making resolutions.
I think my overall theme for the year will be Love; i.e. faith expressing itself in love, love expressing itself in obedience and holiness, exploring the love of God that surpasses knowledge. My focus in January is still diligence, which is a way of expressing love.
What about you? What are your hopes, dreams, resolutions, or goals for the New Year? Or, do you prefer to tackle one day at a time, without focusing on a whole year? I'd love to hear your comments.
Enjoy!
Elizabeth

I've done it the old fashioned way: two big resolutions and a bunch of small ones. I want to cook more healthy and find a better balance again in my home routines. Those are the two main ones. The better balance includes much more time for everything due to less procrastination, of course.
I'm primarily a day-at-a-time lady, with the big picture over all. I have to keep in mind when moves, deployments, TDYs, etc, are coming, and not get lost in each days' tasks.
My overall goal for the year is "Be intentional."
Diligence: constant and earnest effort to accomplish what is undertaken. Well, that is not me right now. I take care of my granddaughter while my daughter works nights and there is no diligence there except taking care of her needs. I think I kinda float through my days.... I think if I made a daily plan... yea, that's it. Like Christy said, maybe be intentional. Make a list and be diligent to accomplish it. Oh, well, I started a blog and have been spending quite a bit of time on that. Actually, I HAVE been diligent with my blog the last few weeks. Wow. Thanks for bringing this up. Linda
