In Europe I believe that petrol is even higher than in the US or Australia.<br /><br />I'd like to suggest an even thriftier option: driving less; perhaps commuting by bicycle or using public transport. Why not walk if your errand isn't far away?<br /><br />I have four kids and we are trying to reduce our car usage by riding bicycles or catching buses to and from work and school.
